My Bicycle Trip Across Canada: Day 53: Eye of the Tiger

June 19th: 20km east of Riviere-de-Loup, QC to Rivieve-Verte, NB: 120km

Went 20-30km into Cabano. I got there early to charge my phone in a Tim Horton’s.

Phill ended up getting problems with his bike. He spent nearly two hours fixing a broken spoke on the side of the road 😦

I chatted with some cyclists who tipped me off on a good route, and I found a bike repair shop.

Phill got his wheels trewed and then we ate lunch.

Rest of the ~70km was good, on the Trans Canada Trail.

Stopped in Edmunston to get groceries and look for another bike shop.

Some teenage girls blared Eye of the Tiger for Phill.

Ended in Riviere-Verte at a camp site. I took a swim and showered, then we ate.

The mosquitoes here have been the worst yet!

Also: vanilla chai soy protein drink with swiss swirls! YUM!
