My Bicycle Trip Across Canada: Day 47: No Sleep Till Montreal

June 13th: Ottawa, ON to Montreal, QC: 220km

Woke up at 5am. Said goodbye, hugged, and off to Quebec again.

The day was pretty much perfect. Wind at our backs, beautiful roads, cute towns [this day definitely sticks out in my mind from the trip… Quebec was just such a nice relief from the deadly highways of Ontario]. We stopped for a second lunch in LaChute, around 4 or 5pm. We had 80 more km from there to go. Rest of the ride was easy, but Montreal was frustrating.

Got in to Steve’s [my friend from my Masters] around 10pm. He’s got a great place, and fed us delicious stew. Then he told us ridiculous stories. It was so good.
