June 11th: some farmer’s lawn to Ottawa, ON: 110km

[note: this is not the exact route we took. We did go through Quebec, but at some point we took a ferry…]

39ºC out! Woke up at 5am, skipped breakfast. We ate in Shawville, and a woman named Lucy bought us breakfast! How awesome?! The rest of the way was 148 Highway, which was ok.

We took a ferry over to Kanata, but still had to bike 45km to Anarosa’s [my girlfriend at the time].

Got in around 2pm. Kissed hello, put our bike’s away, met the family, and laid down in the cool basement.

Ate dinner. I felt really uncomfortable, like all the conversation was fake/unnatural/superficial. [note: Phill had the completely opposite impression about the family dinner. So maybe it was just me.]

Went to see the movie Prometheus after. Awesome! Haha, so cool.
