My Bicycle Trip Across Canada: Day 35: Winnie the Pooh

June 1st: 30km West of Marathon, ON to White River, ON (home of Winnie the Pooh, sort of): 130km

Road into Marathon. Went to a restaurant and it was swell. The owner was our server. He seemed to do everything.

Got groceries.

Stopped about 50km after Marathon at this place called Gloria’s. I got a spicy chicken burger cheese and bacon, a poutine, and cheesecake, and coffee. It was glorious.

White River was quaint. We camped under the roof of the visitor center patio thing.

As I went to go find a lounge, some guys were drinking in front of their hotel rooms. We chatted and they ended up feeding me beers. I got drunk and then smoked up with them as well.
