Woke up to rain, so we kept slept-in hoping it would stop. It didn’t. So we packed up in the rain and headed to a Robins/Burger Scoop. Ate and were off again. We really only started riding at noon. I immediately got a flat tire.

I think we only rode 60km that day, into English River. It was 50km more to the next town, but we were told he motels may be full.

The place we stopped at was closed (Sunday), but they let us in anyways. They made us burgers and gave us a room for $50.

The place was ok. It really came down that night [in terms of rain], so good thing we were inside.

Some construction workers were there. They gave us beers and we hung out with them till about 10pm.

Slept well.
