Herbert to Moose Jaw. Good day. I took one picture. I don’t remember the day [again, I must be writing this on another day].

Oh, stopped in Mortlatch (sp?) which had a population of 320 or something. This one cafe was owned by a Welsh couple. They owned a convenience store next door… so had to leave the one store to serve the other.

I got ice cream.

We ate lunch outside on a picnic table.

Moose Jaw hosts were amazing. Glenda made us delicious food, told us Canadian history, and talked about and showed us tapes of her husband’s brother’s band The Georgia Island Signers, who sing old slave songs.

Really, really incredible stuff. Really moving.
