My Bicycle Trip Across Canada: Day 19: Stars

May 16th: Tompkins, SK to Herbert, SK: 126km

I think this was a long day [I must not have written this on the day]. Ended up in Herbert, so whatever the distance between Tompkins and Herbert is.

It was a really hot day. We took it pretty easy. Stopped at a Husky’s restaurant and just stayed there for a couple of hours.

Near the evening, the flies were horrendous. The place we stopped at was awesome. This motel/campground owned by this Swiss couple. The one guy, Max, was intense. Loves Switzerland… a lot.

We were camped near a pee-wee baseball game. I set up the hammock, got beer from Max, and watched the game.

Saw the stars finally (first time we looked).
