Bonnie made us an amazing breakfast. We got so lucky with this family.

Took off and we had incredible head wind. What an awful morning. We rode maybe 30km in 2.5hrs. The rest of the ride was just excruciatingly hot with no shade.

Camped in a place called Tompkins.

Phill was really slow today. It’s his worst day he says. [Phill was suffering from an old knee injury that re-surfaced on the first day of the ride]

Mom retired. Mike got accepted to a school for a PhD program I think.

I really miss something right now. I don’t know what. Strong feelings for someone maybe.

I felt an almost profound feeling while listening to The Rural Alberta Advantage. Makes me think of friends, family, and this trip. They sing about the Rockies and I’m just moved for no reason.
