My Bicycle Trip Across Canada: Day 15: Climbing in Grassy Lakes

May 12th: Rest day in Calgary, AB

Arwen made us breakfast, then drove us to Mountain Equipment Co-op. We bought some stuff, and Phill fixed his wheel. Actually, we ended up replacing it entirely. It took a while.

That day we headed to Canmore for [rock] climbing. Really good climbing out there! We climbed a 5.9, 5.10b and a 12 bolt, 22m 5.10d/11a. Awesome, awesome stuff.

We had dinner in Canmore and I fell asleep on the ride back. We stopped for delicious milkshakes.
