My Bicycle Trip Across Canada: Day 11: Roger’s Pass

May 8th: Revelstoke, BC to Golden, BC: 148km; hardest climb: 900m

[this was Alexandra the next morning. It was picture day. This is probably my favourite picture from the entire trip]

Revelstoke to Golden. Tried to split the day into 20s [km]. Not much to say about the day, other than how exhausting it was.

At Roger’s pass, we stopped for coffee (and I had a beer). There was a cute Chilean girl working there.

The guys we met a while ago (2?) caught up to us.

The downhill, through snow sheds, was amazing! Best downhill yet!

The rest of the ride went pretty smoothly … so tired.

We are staying on a campsite tonight, and sleeping in.
