Burp! Pepsi vs. Coke: The Ice Cold War

Documentary 3 of 13 from John Pilger. This one, made in 1984, and as the title probably gives away: unearths the history of the two super companies, and also explores their ties to politics: Nixon and Pepsi, Coca-Cola’s murders in Guatamala, Coke’s relations with Nazis (see Fanta), and both soda’s relationships to communism (Coke with China, Pepsi’s replacement of Vodka with Soviet Russia); the latter of which is ironic considering Coke and Pepsi are the epitome of Capitalism…
